Developped softwares

Development of a model for the flash dehydroxylation of kaolinite particles.

Development of a model for the heating, pyrolysis, and combustion of powdered solid fuel particles, with detailed chemistry in the gas phase, by coupling with CHEMKIN routines.

Development of a 1D finite volume model for the combustion of solid porous media (mixes of cardboard and polyethylene), describing the propagation of heat, devolatilisation and char oxidation, taking into account diffusive, convective and Darcy flows for heat and species transfer. The boundary conditions to this date are those of the Calorimeter Cone experiment. Validation from experimental results.

Development of a model for the gasification (O2, H2O and CO2) of a carbonaceous particle. Describing the propagation of heat and char gasification, taking into account diffusive, convective and Darcy flows for heat and species transfer. Validation from experimental results.
